I swear her hair wasn’t always this long
Let’s discuss this photoset.
Top two pictures can be ignored but I’m a tumblr n00b and don’t know how to get rid of them so deal wid it.
Anyway. Apart from the fact that Ziva’s hair is so fhdsjfkdshf in all of them, I love Gibbs in them. in the middle picture, Gibbs seems genuinely worried about her. I love how he’s supporting her, holding her together, but in such a subtle way, and that Ziva totally understands and she’s clinging to him as if for her life. I don’t know why I think that, but I do. and the way she looks so helpless, so scared, I just think that’s a strong moment for Ziva; she’s showing weakness. It’s a contradiction but that’s just how I see it. She’s been brought up not to show any weakness, no fear, no pain, and in that moment she just lets it shine through and it goes against everything. And Gibbs is there to see her through it.
The next picture is another example of how he’s there for her. He’s on her six and I feel like he’s there to support her, to catch her if she falls. I don’t even know, to be honest, but I just love their relationship. If anyone ships them I barf everywhere, however, I do think that Gibbs is the father Ziva should’ve had and I love the father/daughter thing so much. the writers write it so perfectly and the actors act it so emotionally that just looking at those photos wants to make me cry.
Even the last photo, she look so beautiful and strong but maybe I’m mad but I feel like I can see the pain in her eyes, supressing her emotions and just the way she acts, the ninja thing, I think she really wants to pull her barriers down but is too afraid. She just looks so broken in that picture I just want someone to hug her and ack. She’s so brave but you know it’s just a facade. I don’t know if it’s me or if it’s the way the photo’s been edited, but she looks like she’s going to cry and it breaks my heart omg.
